Thu Phuong & THE CHAPEL FAIRYTALE

Having a cozy wedding with only their families and closet friends has always been a dream for Dan & Phuong, who are both born and raised in Vietnam, where big wedding is a part of the culture. Legacy Yen Tu - M Gallery was the first destination that Dan & Phuong traveled together to after falling in love with one another. The venue is perfectly designed with inspiration from the Tran Dynasty by the legendary architect Bill Bensley (who is the great mind behind Intercontinental Peninsula Danang and JW Marriott Phu Quoc). After Dan popped the question, it was an immediate decision that their wedding would have to organise here.

The first challenge was to harmonize the dense and rich cultured designed space with a fairy-like setting that Phuong, the bride, has been dreamt about her whole life. After the first site inspection, we discovered a hidden gem that can turn Phuong's vision into a dreamy reality, the ballroom foyer. The design of this particular foyer reminded us of a chapel which is not that common to find in Vietnam. Utilizing their own beautiful window setting, together with the summer color palette consisting of coral, yellow, ivory and blush gave the space a garden vibe to it.

Phuong wore a flowy dress with 3D flower appliqué that was custom designed for her by Giang, the talented designer at Ciel De Gia Bridal. As Phuong walked down the curved aisle, holding a bouquet of lily of the valley, her most favorite blooms, Dan's eyes sparks with love.
